Import & Customs Agent - Rozenburg

As an Import & Customs Agent at an American freight forwarder, you manage the complete import process from start to finish. You create customs clearances, organize inland transportation, and ensure the seamless final delivery of shipments to clients. Daily communication with customers, carriers, and customs officials is a key part of your role to keep logistics operations running smoothly. You work Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, participating in a rotating shift pattern for evening and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

Handling end-to-end import operations from arrival to final delivery
Preparing, verifying, and processing customs clearance documentation
Scheduling and monitoring transport for shipment deliveries
Maintaining daily contact with customers, carriers, and customs authorities
Resolving client inquiries regarding customs procedures and shipment status
Performing accurate administrative duties in the logistics system
Participating in the rotating schedule for evening and weekend shifts

Requirements

Relevant working experience in import, customs, or freight forwarding
Strong proficiency in the English language (spoken and written)
Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skill.

Monthly salary between € 2,900 and € 3,800 gross based on experience
Direct employment contract with the employer
