Cell Planer (m/f/d)

Join NOV in Etten-Leur as a Cell Planner and help keep our production operation running effectively. You will coordinate people, materials and production capacity, respond to changing priorities and help ensure customer orders are delivered on time.

As a Cell Planner, you will translate the master production plan into practical production and assembly schedules. You will balance capacity, personnel and material availability while responding quickly to shortages, changing priorities and operational disruptions.

Working closely with Production, Master Planning, Purchasing and Sales, you will help resolve bottlenecks and maintain reliable customer delivery. You will also contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the Cell Manager during absences.

Responsibilities:

• Translate the master production plan into detailed production and assembly schedules.
• Plan machine capacity, personnel, materials and equipment across assigned work centers.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when priorities, capacity or material availability change.
• Identify shortages and bottlenecks and coordinate solutions with Production, Purchasing, Master Planning and other teams.
• Manage backorders and urgent requirements and maintain production priorities within the ERP system.
• Monitor material availability and escalate recurring supplier delivery issues.
• Communicate production priorities and issue production orders to the relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate planning, delivery and production information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality and efficiency.
• Support the Cell Manager during absences, including coordinating work priorities and supporting the Cell Support Team.

Essential Qualifications

• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with, or a strong understanding of, production planning in a manufacturing or similarly dynamic operational environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems or comparable production-planning systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Confident communication and coordination skills across different departments.
• MBO+ working and thinking level through relevant education and/or practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education in logistics, supply chain, production planning or a related field.
• Experience with Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM).
• Experience contributing to continuous improvement activities.
• A varied planning role with direct impact on production performance and customer delivery.
