De positie YER Tech Solutions (TS) is looking for an entrepreneurial Lead Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of something new. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering capabilities, by writing the SoW based on the customer intakes you will do, helping win projects, defining how we deliver them, and leading their successful execution. Instead, you'll help create the foundation of a growing engineering business with ambitious plans in the Netherlands and beyond. As Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will bridge engineering, sales and delivery. You will help define project scope, estimate effort and costs, support customer discussions and ultimately take responsibility for successful execution. Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation Coach and guide engineers involved in projects Contribute to building engineering methodologies and best practices Help shape the future direction of the Engineering focus areas Build relationships with customers, suppliers and engineering partners Over het bedrijf About YER Tech Solutions YER Tech Solutions delivers engineering expertise through Statement of Work (SoW) projects. Our focus is not on staffing individual engineers, but on delivering complete engineering solutions for customers in high-tech manufacturing, industrial technology and innovative product development environments. Today we start in the Netherlands. BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering ~8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity; ~ Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects ~ Commercial awareness and customer-facing skills ~ Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the Rotterdam, Utrecht or Eindhoven region ~ Dutch speaking is a strong advantage ~ Authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for visa sponsorship.
