Python Developer

In this Python Developer role, you will design and implement backend solutions in a hybrid setup based in Amsterdam North for a 12-month engagement. You’ll work on scalable services, APIs, and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate stakeholder needs into technical designs. The position emphasizes modern tech like FastAPI, microservices, Kafka, and GenAI-driven automation, within an Agile SAFe environment. You’ll contribute to deployment planning, post-implementation support, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role for someone who communicates clearly and thrives in a fast-paced, learning-oriented culture.

• Requirement gathering and solution design
• Create functional/technical specs
• Develop cut-over and deployment plans with post-implementation hyper-care
• Translate stakeholder needs into functional designs
• Write user stories and lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

• 8+ years as Python Developer (development & support)
• Strong Python and FastAPI
• Experience with microservices
• Test case writing and execution
• Kafka
• Azure & OCI
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Docker, AKS, Helm
• REST APIs, Java services, GraphQL
• GenAI for automation (dashboards & reporting)
• SAFe Agile, JIRA, Confluence
• Databases (Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL) – nice to have
• Certified Python Developer
• AZ-900/400 certified
