As Technical Sales Specialist Fire Detection, you drive growth for Johnson Controls across BENELUX by applying deep fire protection expertise to design compliant, cost-effective detection solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to installers, distributors, consultants, and end users, guiding specification and design. You’ll collaborate with the commercial team to identify opportunities, support presales activities, and translate regulatory requirements into practical value. • Serve as the technical expert for Fire Detection solutions in BENELUX.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose compliant, cost-efficient solutions.
• Support specification, design phases, and guidance on EN standards and local regulations.
• Aid customers in selecting products and system architectures.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to identify new opportunities and prepare technical quotations.
• Demonstrate product value and provide technical positioning and competitive comparisons.
• Contribute to sales funnel development and post-sale follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with installers, distributors, consultants and key decision-makers.
• Deliver technical workshops, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Manage customer questions and resolve technical challenges throughout the journey.
• Gather market feedback and monitor competitor trends; maintain accurate documentation and CRM records.

• Minimum of 5 years in the Fire & Life Safety industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection systems and applications.
• Experience with EN standards and industry regulations.
• Proven design and application engineering capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in technical or presales support.
• Strong understanding of Fire Detection and PAVA systems.
• CRM data management and sales documentation experience.
