Senior Manager in Insurance

In this role you lead client engagements and cross-office initiatives to drive transformation in the Dutch insurance market. You shape strategy, oversee project delivery, and mentor teams while expanding the firm’s capabilities and footprint. You collaborate with international offices to leverage the global network and contribute to Sia’s growth. The position combines strategic thinking, market insight, and hands-on delivery to create measurable value for clients and the firm.

• Lead project teams and deliver across clients from Amsterdam or at client site
• Drive growth and revenue through client work and cross-selling
• Produce proposals and client materials
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Collaborate with Sia offices to share knowledge and opportunities
• Monitor financial services industry developments and contribute to Sia's brand in the Dutch insurance market
• Execute business strategy and digital strategy work, including market studies, financial modelling, data analysis
• Support business/process improvement, performance management design and implementation
• Engage in regulatory/operational risk transformation initiatives
• Manage projects with internal and external stakeholders in agile/structured settings

• 7-10 years of (management) consulting experience
• Experience delivering change to a top-tier insurance company; banking experience is a plus
• Strong entrepreneurial drive with focus on client development and business development
• Interest in data and AI topics with ability to rapidly build expertise
• Good understanding of insurance products, processes and technologies (insurtech/fintech)
• Strong network within the Dutch insurance market
• Strong academic background (e.g., business, mathematics, economics)
• Dutch native speaker; English communication skills considered a plus
