Procurement Manager (m/w/d)

In this role you will lead strategic sourcing within a complex IT/OT environment, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies and supplier programs. You will drive procurement milestones, evaluation criteria, and supplier onboarding, ensuring alignment with the programme roadmap. You’ll translate multifaceted requirements into practical procurement plans and support senior leadership with procurement insights. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes how IT and OT capabilities are procured to enable project success. You will work in a fast-paced matrix organisation, delivering value with integrity and transparency.

• Perform IT/OT category and supplier-market scans to identify required services and capabilities
• Translate business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans
• Prepare and issue RFI, RFQ and RFP documents with stakeholders across business, IT, Legal, Security and Procurement
• Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies and decisions in line with the integrative roadmap
• Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models and scoring structures, and coordinate supplier evaluations
• Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations and commercial recommendations
• Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation and handover
• Maintain a consolidated view of supplier selection status, timeline, commercial assumptions, risks and decisions
• Provide procurement input to reporting, budget discussions and Steering Committee material

• 7+ years of procurement experience (10+ years preferred)
• Experience at Procurement Manager level or in a comparable strategic sourcing role
• Proven experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives, complex tenders and supplier selection processes
• Strong background in IT procurement; experience within OT environments is highly desirable
• Experience in wind energy sector and/or with SCADA systems is a strong asset
• Experience in large and complex matrix organisations
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical and organisational abilities with attention to detail and transparency
• Ability to translate cross-domain requirements into sourcing strategies
• Pragmatic, delivery-oriented, and capable of handling multiple dependencies in a fast-paced setting
• Self-driven, collaborative and able to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
