Healthcare Compliance Manager

In this role, you safeguard interactions with healthcare professionals, payers and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with laws, internal policies and our Code of Conduct. You will lead a risk-based compliance program for Human Pharma, advise leadership on key risks, and train the local organization on medical/healthcare compliance procedures. Based in Amsterdam, you report to the Medical Director and act as a trusted partner to drive integrity and informed business decisions within MIDI.

• Develop and execute a risk-based compliance programme for Human Pharma
• Advise Local Leadership Team on compliance status and risks
• Provide proactive healthcare compliance guidance across risk areas
• Partner with local business to translate regulatory changes into practical guidance
• Contribute to MIDI Compliance activities, including risk assessments and action plans
• Manage internal investigations related to Healthcare Compliance Human Pharma
• Build external networks and maintain internal compliance connections
• Support transparency reporting and SOP maintenance
• Ensure active compliance information flow and reporting within MIDI
• Optimize, update and train the organization on local medical/healthcare compliance procedures

• Master's degree in Legal, Economics, Regulatory Affairs or equivalent professional training in healthcare compliance
• Around 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the Netherlands
• Strong healthcare compliance knowledge and ability to advise the business
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• Solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs
• Ability to explain complex compliance/legal topics clearly
