Senior Technology Controller/Technology Finance Business Partner

Working model: Remote/Hybrid, with semi-regular travel to the Netherlands

We’re supporting a PE-backed European B2B SaaS business providing mission-critical technology into complex, highly regulated markets. With a significant Technology organization and a broader transformation underway, there is a real focus on how Technology investment translates into commercial value.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You’ll work directly with senior Technology leaders to understand where money and capacity are going, challenge investment decisions, and build much stronger financial discipline across R&D, people, projects and technology spend.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning Technology budgets, forecasts and performance
• Challenging Technology leadership on spend, capacity and investment decisions
• Analyzing R&D capacity, FTEs, utilization and external resources
• Building business cases for major Technology investments
• Identifying and delivering tangible cost and productivity improvements
• Tracking ROI and benefits from AI, automation and transformation initiatives
• Creating greater visibility around cost-to-serve and return on Technology investment
• Fluency in english
• Strong Technology Finance / IT Controlling background
• Experience within SaaS, software or IT services
• Strong understanding of R&D economics, capacity and software capitalization
• Proven experience delivering measurable Technology cost or efficiency improvements
• Strong financial modelling and commercial partnering skills
• PE / value-creation experience highly desirable
