Junior Paid Search (SEA) Consultant

As a Junior Paid Search Consultant at DEPT, you help drive online growth for international brands through data-driven optimization of paid search and shopping campaigns. You collaborate with a cross-functional team to align search activity with clients’ broader growth strategies. You’ll work on multi-market campaigns, leveraging automation and AI to improve performance. This role blends analytics, client communication, and fast-paced execution within a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

• Manage multi-market paid search and shopping campaigns for clients
• Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for optimization
• Leverage automation and data, including AI, to enhance performance
• Create and optimize campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and report findings with recommendations
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in paid search
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client goals
• Adapt strategies to search engine algorithm changes
• Perform technical, content, and authority analysis; set up implementation plans
• Respond to client briefs and provide regular activity reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Maintain direct client communication

• Strong analytical and performance mindset
• Experience in managing and optimizing paid search and shopping campaigns (agency experience preferred)
• Knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interpret data to drive optimization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Excel/Sheets; familiarity with Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced setting
• Availability to start from Amsterdam or Rotterdam office
• Full professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus
