EMEA Accounts Payable Analyst

In this role you support Verathon’s Finance & Accounting team in Amsterdam, ensuring accurate AP processing, month-end closings, and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across EMEA to maintain controls and streamline processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and contributing to audits and fiscal declarations in a multinational setting. This is a hands-on position in a global medical devices company known for its trusted partnership with customers.

• Handle all incoming invoices
• Coordinate banking activities for all EMEA entities
• Participate in monthly accrual process including invoice accruals
• Support reconciliations with Accountant
• Assist in periodic closings under Manager supervision
• Support fiscal and social declarations under Manager supervision
• Assist during internal and external audits
• Support controllership projects and simplification efforts with IT/local controllers to document processes
• Handle mail for Verathon EMEA Headquarters
• Perform other duties as assigned by Direct Manager
• Contribute to Verathon’s Mission and Objectives
• Ensure adherence to Code of Ethics and compliance guidelines

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related discipline
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in a multinational setting, preferably FMCG/medical devices/consumer electronics/pharma/capital equipment
• Experience with US-based manufacturing company preferred
• Track record of completing basic finance tasks
• Understanding of financial metrics and management control
• Experience using controlling tools, processes and management information systems
• Excellent verbal and written English; other languages desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to build cross-cultural partnerships and communicate across levels

• Ability to generate management-level and detailed reports
