EHS Manager

In this role you lead Environmental, Health, Safety & Security efforts across one or more PPG sites, ensuring compliance and driving a strong safety culture. You will align local EHS strategies with regional requirements and business goals, partnering with site leadership to protect people, facilities, and the environment. The role offers exposure to international standards and opportunities to shape EHS culture and continuous improvement. • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the site EHS Management System
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations and PPG standards
• Develop and execute local EHS strategies aligned with business objectives and regional requirements
• Partner with site leadership to foster proactive safety culture and operational excellence
• Manage EHS programs, procedures, audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental events; implement corrective actions
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and KPI reporting
• Develop and deliver EHS training, awareness, and emergency preparedness
• Collaborate with Process Safety Managers to meet process safety requirements
• Manage EHS budgets and identify investment opportunities
• Support regulatory inspections and maintain relationships with authorities
• Facilitate EHS leadership meetings and communicate initiatives and performance
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce risk and enhance performance

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience in an EHS role in manufacturing/industrial/chemical environments
• Strong knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations
• Experience implementing and managing EHS management systems and compliance programs
• Strong analytical and risk identification abilities
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities
• Professional proficiency in English and Dutch
• Willingness to travel between sites
