Sourcing & Category Expert Infrastructure Software

In this role you join a high-performance Group Technology Procurement team within ING to shape global sourcing for Infrastructure Software. You will design and execute global sourcing strategies, manage critical contracts, and influence vendor decisions at the highest levels. You’ll lead complex negotiations, drive supplier innovation, and ensure compliance and value delivery across the bank. • Define global sourcing execution approach and drive spend category results
• Manage strategic contracts with focus on compliance and value delivery
• Develop bank-wide vendor strategies for critical vendors and influence top-level decisions
• Lead global sourcing execution, partner with strategic suppliers, deliver measurable impact
• Design and manage RFX processes and related documentation; negotiate contracts
• Oversee contract approvals, onboarding, and lifecycle compliance; support vendor master data

• 3-6 years in strategic procurement in an international organization
• 3+ years cross-country negotiations for group-wide vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM)
• Deep understanding of software market trends and competitive landscapes
• Knowledge of license models across Enterprise vendors (Microsoft, Broadcom, Oracle, IBM) and hyperscalers; SAP, FIS preferred
• Experience with offshore teams and strong English business communication
• Strong project management and negotiation skills; regulatory and compliance knowledge in finance procurement
• Legal acumen, up-to-date on commercial and contractual developments for assigned vendors
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable growth opportunities
