Senior AI Tech Consultant - Amsterdam | BCG Platinion

In this role you help clients unlock digital potential by shaping IT strategy and architecture, working with leadership to secure buy-in and translate insights into high-impact implementations. You will deploy state-of-the-art tech—cloud, AI, blockchain, microservices—and lead agile, strategic IT programs that transform client capabilities. You’ll collaborate across case teams, coach client tech groups, and contribute to practice development while advancing BCG Platinion’s digital transformation agenda. This role offers global exposure, innovative projects, and a strong growth path.

• Define and sell IT strategies with client leadership; gain buy-in for recommendations
• Collaborate with case teams to translate potential into performance
• Deploy IT strategies, digital platforms and architecture leveraging cloud, AI, blockchain, and microservices
• Lead parts of projects; coach client technology teams; manage quality and risk; handle client expectations and escalations
• Advance agile methods and modern approaches in strategic IT implementations
• Contribute to project proposals, client care, and relationships; identify new business opportunities
• Support practice development and help build the BCG brand as part of the case team

• 6 to 10 years of experience in IT strategy and consulting, software development, or IT project management
• Prior IT consulting experience is highly desirable
• Strong technical expertise with data and cloud technologies; experience in at least two areas: IT modernization; enterprise architecture; ERP (SAP) & manufacturing; CRM platforms; HR/collaboration; marketing/sales/service platforms; channels; applied intelligence, ML, RPA, blockchain, IoT; DevOps & bimodal IT
• university degree in STEM or business management
