Senior QHSE Advisor

In this role you lead Yokogawa's European QHSE function across 18 countries, guiding a 20+ person team. You translate group requirements into regional objectives and drive the integrated management system across quality, health & safety, environment and information security. You own certification, drive improvements, and connect QHSE to business decisions. You will influence senior leadership and shape regional risk, incident investigations and sustainability efforts, delivering measurable performance gains.

• Set regional direction and lead the European QHSE strategy aligned to group priorities
• Directly manage and develop a 20+ member QHSE team across Europe
• Oversee regional budget and resources for consistent standards and local needs
• Own and continually improve the integrated management system for ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and 27001
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement and service to improve process performance and product/service quality
• Lead response to significant customer complaints, nonconformities and corrective actions
• Drive safety and environmental performance, and promote accountable leadership
• Coordinate information security governance within the management system with IT and specialists
• Set regional audit strategy, run risk-based internal audits, and prepare for certification and audits
• Lead investigations into serious safety, environmental incidents and major nonconformities
• Advise senior leadership on QHSE, challenge decisions, and represent Yokogawa externally
• Turn performance data into decisions and drive regional management reviews
• Embed QHSE in bids, contracts, supplier selection and organizational change
• Support sustainability reporting with reliable data and legislative readiness

• 8+ years in QHSE or related compliance, including multi-country leadership
• 5+ years of direct people management with a large, dispersed team
• Background in industrial automation, process industries or similar operational settings
• Hands-on leadership of integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) with ISO/IEC 27001 experience
• Track record in certification, audits and measurable improvements in quality, safety and environment
• Experience investigating serious incidents and managing complex corrective actions
• Experience managing regional budgets, resources and organizational change
• Ability to influence senior leaders and translate technical requirements into business decisions
• Degree in engineering, quality, occupational safety, environmental management or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Fluent English; other European languages advantageous
