Control Systems Engineer

As a Control Systems Engineer at Yara Sluiskil, you design, operate and maintain process control systems in a large production site. You optimize control performance, contribute to plant modifications, and develop preventive maintenance. You collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and cross-site teams to ensure reliability and safety while aligning with Yara’s values. The role offers impactful work on industrial automation within a sustainability-focused, international environment. • Maintain and provide technical support for process control systems to Operations and Maintenance
• Assist other engineers with plant modifications and project design; perform configuration of control systems
• Develop and install advanced controls to optimize plant performance
• Improve reliability and availability via preventive maintenance plans for control systems
• Build relationships with technical personnel across Yara Sluiskil, external partners, and other Yara sites
• Ensure activities comply with Yara’s Values and Management system

• Engineering degree; electromechanical or industrial automation preferred
• Experience in engineering and maintenance of control systems in production (Emerson DeltaV preferred)
• Strong safety and reliability mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English
