Senior Partner Solutions Engineer - Hardware

In this role you will act as the primary technical authority for key hardware OEM partners, shaping how Adyen engages with complex devices and driving improvements across tooling, processes, and automation. You will lead strategic OEM initiatives, collaborate across Product, Engineering, Hardware Integrity, and Commercial teams, and scale a durable operating model for Hardware Partner Engineering. You will influence the payment experience on partner devices and mentor peers, all while operating in a fast-growing hardware ecosystem. This position offers impact at scale within a mission-driven, collaborative environment in Amsterdam.

• Serve as the senior technical advisor for your OEM’s engineering team and lead escalations on device-level issues
• Define and drive technical strategy for the OEM relationship, including issue prioritization and tooling evolution
• Align cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Hardware Integrity/Reliability, Commercial) on OEM priorities
• Design and implement tooling, automation, and process improvements to scale quality across the relationship
• Collaborate with Commercial to proactively improve the Adyen payment experience on partner devices
• Mentor other Partner Solutions Engineers in debugging and partner management
• Help shape a scalable operating model for Hardware Partner Engineering as OEM relationships expand

• 8+ years in technical solutions, partner engineering, or related customer-facing roles
• 4+ years hands-on embedded, firmware, or systems engineering experience with hardware exposure
• Embedded Android experience in point-of-sale contexts is a plus
• Credible technical authority capable of evaluating OEM root-cause claims and accountability
• Track record turning reactive backlogs into durable processes, tooling, or automation
• Excellent communicator with senior stakeholders
• High agency and strategic thinking
• Willingness to travel to OEM locations and across time zones
