Junior Scientific Advisor Cardiology

In this role you support scientific partnerships and projects in cardiology, working with a cross-functional team to translate global medical strategies into local collaborations. You’ll engage external thought leaders and internal stakeholders to steer medical content, trials, and evidence plans. You help co-create studies and multichannel medical education, driving scientific credibility and patient-focused outcomes. This is a chance to shape cardiovascular initiatives within Bayer’s Dynamic Shared Ownership framework.

• Act as a scientific partner to external customers and internal teams to manage scientific projects
• Align scientific objectives with brand strategy under guidance of the Medical Advisor
• Localize global medical strategy into collaborations with key Netherlands centers
• Contribute scientific input to customer projects and multichannel campaigns with cross-functional partners
• Foster strategic partnerships by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Provide scientific guidance to clinical trial teams on interventional trials, OS, RWE, and IIR
• Review analytics and field insights to optimize medical content and evidence plans
• Build a network with Thought Leaders and external stakeholders in Medical Affairs
• Support organization of medical advisory boards and scientific educational programs
• Co-lead scientific/medical projects in compliance with guidelines and regulations
• Assist medical advisor with training cross-functional partners and reviewing materials

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, etc.)
• PhD in medical sciences is a strong asset
• At least 2 years in pharma medical affairs or similar
• Established relations with cardiovascular centers in the Netherlands
• Strong understanding of Dutch pharmaceutical regulations
• Experience in managing scientific projects with university medical centers (preferred)
• Experience in clinical research and trial management
• Proven stakeholder management and network-building skills
• Business acumen with cross-functional collaboration and understanding of marketing/sales in pharma
• Highly organized and autonomous
• Fluency in Dutch and English
