Systems Engineer – Live

In this System Engineer role you translate designs into integrated communication systems for naval and defense customers. You will work from Utrecht within a European Center of Competence, collaborating with sales and project management to deliver in scope. You handle the full system engineering lifecycle and contribute to bid proposals for mission-critical capabilities. You travel occasionally to customer sites to support delivery and commissioning, shaping secure, reliable communications solutions.

• Oversee the full system engineering lifecycle: conception, requirements, design, realization, integration, verification, acceptance and support
• Contribute to bid teams and proposals for delivery of mission-critical capability
• Apply systems engineering framework based on ISO/PMI standards
• Participate in tender responses, design reviews, integration, testing and site commissioning
• Deliver engineering services that meet milestones, budget and quality expectations

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree; experience in Systems, RF, Mechatronics, Electronics, Communications or Aerospace
• Proven experience in a project engineering environment within an international setting
• Structured and proactive work approach
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Dutch
• Experience configuring networks; IP networking knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Word and Excel
