SAP PLM Application Developer

In this role you will design, configure, and operate SAP PLM solutions to support specifications, engineering records, and document management. You will work within a product team to scale SAP PLM across multiple areas of Cargill’s business, collaborating with business users and technical teams. You will implement configuration changes, develop fixes, and ensure reliable deployments while maintaining quality through testing. The position sits at the intersection of business needs and technical delivery, helping to streamline PLM processes and integrations. • Sets up and maintains application configurations to meet user and business requirements.
• Performs programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application releases.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Writes and maintains unit and integration tests and debugs to ensure quality and performance.
• Suggests and implements improvements to software development and deployment processes.
• Drafts and maintains documentation for software applications, deployment processes and configurations.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and resolve issues.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (typically 3+ years).
• Functional experience or exposure to SAP PLM.
• Experience in process industry environments.
• Experience with Specifications, Recipes, and Engineering Records.
• Experience supporting Document Management (DMS) and BOM processes.
• Understanding of SAP PLM integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and support functional configurations.
• Experience working with SAP technical teams, including ABAP developers.
• Familiarity with PLM data concepts and lifecycle processes.
• Effective collaboration across business, functional, and technical teams.
