In this role, you steer Abbott Diabetes Care’s contracting strategy to drive profitable partnerships with insurers and distributors. You’ll lead cross-functional contract activities, provide pricing expertise for complex bids, and shape opportunities to sustain Abbott’s competitive edge in contracting. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize financial outcomes and contract performance. • Provide vision and strategic direction to stakeholders across contract-related activities
• Achieve contract-related outcomes such as wins and implementations and support sales goals
• Prepare and debrief contract documentation
• Deliver efficient contract maintenance and improve profitability with contract managers
• Support financial targets and educate the team on financial data implications
• Coordinate analysis of contracts P&Ls to inform pricing strategies
• Advise on pricing models and ROI analytics for leadership
• Lead cross-functional task forces to discuss contract issues and pricing
• Represent Abbott at stakeholder meetings and industry events
• Maintain an overview of the contract landscape to spot opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluency in English and Dutch
• Minimum 5-7 years in MedTech, Pharma or similar industry
• Strong commercial experience
• Extensive experience leading complex cross-functional projects
• Experience building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel)
