Information Manager Benelux

As Information Manager for Amsterdam and the Benelux, you enable lawyers and business professionals with high-quality legal research, current awareness, and specialist information services. You will lead the Benelux information function, shaping how information is found, used and governed across the region. You drive collaboration with partners, Risk, IT, and AI teams to evolve information services in a fast-changing environment. • Lead the Benelux information function, ensuring consistent, high-quality service with local market insight
• Develop and manage the Benelux Information Professionals, including hiring, appraisals, and day-to-day support
• Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture with continuous improvement
• Align with partners and fee-earners to understand evolving office and client needs
• Manage Benelux information budgets, spend controls, and supplier relationships
• Oversee information suppliers, usage analysis, renewals, and issue resolution
• Reduce duplication and achieve cost savings across subscriptions and systems
• Provide timely, well-sourced legal, business and market research for client work and strategic priorities
• Champion AI and knowledge technologies, manage knowledge applications, and collaborate with IT and AI teams
• Train staff to maximize value from research platforms, current awareness tools and AI solutions
• Ensure licensing, copyright, data usage, confidentiality and governance compliance

• Significant experience in information management or services in a large international firm
• Experience leading information professionals and capability development
• Strong procurement, supplier and subscription management experience across multiple jurisdictions
• In-depth knowledge of legal information resources, licensing and data usage
• Hands-on with knowledge systems, current awareness tools, template automation or AI technologies
• Excellent Dutch and English communication and stakeholder management
• Analytical, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
• Graduate level education (HBO/WO); knowledge/procurement management qualifications desired, risk management qualifications a plus
