Senior Manager - Finance Technologies, Data & Platforms

In this role, you lead finance technology transformation initiatives, shaping modern data architectures for reporting and planning. You will bridge finance and technology, guiding CFOs and enterprise teams through platform-driven modernization. You’ll build and scale a finance data foundation, drive EF&A and AI readiness, and mentor a multidisciplinary team. This position sits at the intersection of finance, data engineering, and enterprise architecture within EY’s finance consulting practice.

• Act as lead solution architect on high-stakes finance transformation programs
• Advise CFOs, Finance Directors, and CIOs on platform selection and ROI of modernizing data infrastructure
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex, platform-driven transformation projects with multi-disciplinary teams and budgets
• Spearhead commercial growth in Dutch and European markets through data-driven proposals and partnerships
• Translate accounting rules and FP&A requirements into rigorous technical specifications and data architectures
• Direct and coach managers and consultants to build deep technical and strategic capabilities

• 8+ years in Finance Transformation, Data Engineering, or EPM/ERP implementation
• Deep knowledge of at least one major EPM ecosystem or extensive data architecture experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Proven track record in financial data strategies, data governance, and cloud-enabled data structures
• Ability to act as trusted advisor to senior executives and drive commercial opportunities
• Strong financial acumen with understanding of closing cycles, consolidation, and driver-based planning
• Excellent English, and ideally Dutch, with executive presentation and storytelling skills
• Strong network within the Netherlands for business development and client engagement
