Cybersecurity resilience and recovery expert

In this role, you strengthen ASML’s cyber resilience and recovery capabilities from the second line, providing governance, oversight, and assurance across security, risk, and business continuity. You will develop enterprise-wide artefacts, standards, and methodologies to enable scalable recovery across ASML. You work with cross-functional teams to translate risk insights into actionable guidance for business and IT, ensuring readiness to respond to cyber disruptions. A key hook is shaping resilience at scale through governance, standardization, and cross-sector alignment.

• Define and drive adoption of cyber resilience and recovery framework improvements
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide resilience artefacts, standards, and methodologies
• Act as trusted advisor translating risk insights into actionable recommendations
• Provide independent 2nd line oversight and assurance across sectors
• Oversee risk-based resilience and recovery testing programs using data-driven insights
• Coordinate cross-sector business continuity and recovery exercises for cyber disruptions
• Drive resilience capability maturity initiatives across the organization
• Produce risk, resilience, and assurance reporting for executives and sector leads

• Extensive experience in risk management, cyber resilience, business continuity, or recovery management
• Ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders
• Understanding of cyber resilience, business continuity, and security standards and regulations (NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 22301)
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, risk management, and resilience preferred (CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CBCI)
• Strong business insight, data analysis, and strategic thinking
