Field Application Engineer - Power Supply

In this role you will diagnose and solve technical challenges across lighting and e-mobility power supplies (wired and wireless). You will engage KA and channel partners to explore new projects and support them with technical solutions. You will serve as a bridge between R&D and customers to capture voice of the customer and help shape new features, while coordinating with service teams on failure requests. You will report on technology trends in the EMEA market and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of power-supply solutions.

• Identify and solve technical problems related to Lighting and E-mobility power supply products and solutions (wired and wireless)
• Visit KA and channel partners for new project developments
• Support channel partners with identifying and solving technical problems
• Provide introductions and trainings about Power supply products and solutions to channel partners and key account customers
• Conduct voice of customer for ACDC/DCDC power supply products and bridge between R&D and customer to develop new features
• Handle customer failure requests with service department
• Report on technology, industry application and feature trends in the EMEA market

• Technical bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electronics Engineering
• Min. 3 years hands-on power supply designing experience
• Knowledge of power supply hardware and software (PMBus, CAN) lab testing capabilities
• Experience with power supply products promotion activity & market analysis for strategy planning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and intercultural awareness
• Good organization, planning, analytical and presentation skills
• Track record of working independently
• Frequent travelling required (3-4 times in a month)
• In possession of an European driving license
• Understanding of each different topologies used in power supply is plus
• Excellent command of English and other European language
