Senior Firmware Engineer

As a Senior Firmware Engineer at Hudl, you will help bring the next generation of autonomous, edge AI sports cameras to life. You will collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Application Software teams to build a reliable and updatable firmware stack for devices powering real-time video insights. You’ll lead technical efforts on complex projects and own autonomous problems from prototype to production. This role offers hands-on work turning early concepts into fully functioning devices and shaping the low-level systems that power the full product. • Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Application Software Engineers to design and maintain a scalable firmware system
• Lead design and delivery of complex firmware projects as a technical example for peers
• Own autonomous squad initiatives, delivering high-quality firmware solutions
• Develop and power next-generation devices by turning prototypes into production-grade hardware-software integration

• Deep embedded Linux experience with board support packages (BSP)
• Hands-on experience with Yocto and full stack development from kernel to user space
• C/C++ development for user-space and BSP-level work including debugging
• Linux kernel knowledge including device-tree configuration and driver development
• Experience with hardware interfaces like UART, I2C, SPI
