Cell planner

In this role, you plan resources across production cells to ensure on-time order fulfillment. You translate the master plan into actionable schedules, balancing machines, personnel, materials, and equipment. You monitor progress, address bottlenecks, and adjust plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You work with ERP and supplier data to incorporate backorders and rush orders, driving efficient, cost-conscious production. • Translate the master build plan into an optimal schedule allocating production activities, machine capacity, personnel, materials, and equipment
• Break down production orders by work center, analyzing required activities, machines, personnel, and material needs
• Convert the master plan into center-specific production and assembly schedules considering delivery dates and resource availability
• Identify shortages and bottlenecks, propose solutions, and communicate options to relevant teams and Master Planning
• Integrate backorders and rush orders into schedules using the ERP system; issue shop orders to Cell Captains
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules, and escalate or propose changes to address capacity constraints
• Participate in improvement projects focused on cost, quality, and information management; determine outsourcing needs based on ERP data
• Monitor delivery dates, generate reports to identify shortages, set production priorities in the ERP system, and verify material/documents
• Expedite by discussing supplier shortages, reporting delays, and ensuring timely material availability
• Discuss shortages and planning issues with Cell Support Team and Operations Manager as needed
• Communicate material requirements and delivery plans to Sales and other stakeholders
• Exchange system information with System Administrator; manage priorities and work instructions with Cell Support Team and Operations Manager
• Modify production schedules in consultation with Cell Manager; issue orders and queues; propose bottleneck solutions
• Act as Cell Manager during absences, including supervising team, managing leave, and assigning work
• Ensure on-time delivery through efficient planning and data-driven adjustments
• Accurately process data related to hours, materials, and usage

• Education in logistics and production planning in a dynamic environment (advantage)
• Experience with ERP systems and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) is a plus
• Strong planning, organizing, decisiveness, and communication competencies
• Ability to operate with a helicopter view and maintain composure under pressure
• Bilingual Dutch and English, written and spoken
