Senior Director Engineering

In this role you will shape the long-term engineering and technology strategy for PRS, leading a global team to deliver innovative industrial connectivity solutions. You will collaborate with product, operations, quality, supply chain and commercial teams to accelerate growth and strengthen the innovation pipeline. You’ll drive NPI, manufacturability, and continuous improvement while building an inclusive, high-performing organization. This position offers executive growth potential and impact across multiple industrial markets.

• Define and execute the long-term engineering and technology strategy for PRS
• Build and evolve technology roadmaps aligned with customer needs and market trends
• Identify emerging technologies and digital capabilities to create competitive advantage
• Foster a culture of innovation and IP development
• Lead global product development and lifecycle engineering
• Accelerate new product introduction (NPI) and speed-to-market
• Partner with Operations to improve manufacturability, quality, productivity and cost
• Implement modern engineering processes, governance, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align investments and priorities
• Build and inspire a high-performing global engineering organization and develop future leaders
• Contribute to technology assessments, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and external stakeholders
• Support strategic growth and integration of new technologies

• Significant experience leading engineering organizations in global environments
• Track record of delivering successful product development and innovation programs
• Experience influencing across complex, matrixed organizations
• Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to solve complex challenges
• Ability to balance long-term technology vision with operational execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Advanced qualifications (Master's, MBA) welcomed but not essential
• Experience with Lean Product Development, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or M&A advantageous
