Senior SEO Strategist

In this role you will own and evolve the SEO strategy for Booking.com verticals, driving growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner with Product, Engineering, UX, and other teams to translate opportunities into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes. You’ll monitor AI-driven search developments and adapt strategies to new growth opportunities, shaping the company’s travel platform. • Own and evolve the SEO strategy, roadmap and performance narrative for one or more Booking.com verticals
• Identify high-impact opportunities using data, research and experimentation and recommend actions
• Prioritize SEO, content, technical and product initiatives by impact, effort and risk
• Influence Product, Engineering, UX, SEO Operations, Editorial and Localisation to deliver outcomes
• Act as primary SEO contact for the owned vertical and communicate performance and priorities to stakeholders
• Translate complex analysis into practical recommendations and measurable plans
• Track developments in search and AI-driven search and adapt strategy to opportunities

• 5+ years of SEO experience with strong technical SEO foundation and strategic ownership
• Experience on a large-scale website or complex digital ecosystem
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with ability to tie SEO to business value
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration across teams
• Experience working with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver opportunities
• Ability to source and analyze data independently and communicate findings clearly
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; knowledge of data visualization tools expected
• Knowledge of Hadoop/MySQL, international search engines or AI-driven search is a plus
