Lead Software Engineer

As a Data Engineer in the Data Engineering team, you will help build and maintain core data pipelines and reporting for post-trade services. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to meet business and regulatory needs, ensure data quality, and help shape the target architecture. The role sits at the heart of near-real-time data processing that supports risk, margin, and settlement workflows. • Implement changes to data pipelines to meet business or regulatory requirements (e.g., historical price data, regulatory reporting)
• Ensure data quality through monitoring and alerting in data flows
• Define and progressively move toward the target data architecture
• Support business analysts, database experts, and operations teams with data engineering expertise

• Seasoned data engineer with experience building, validating, running, and troubleshooting data pipelines for critical systems
• Open-minded with a creative, can-do attitude
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering
• Experience in data governance and/or data quality management in regulated environments (finance)
• Strong English communication skills; based in Amsterdam
• Proficiency in Python ecosystem and PySpark
• Experience with data pipelines and data reporting workflows
