IT Functional Support Senior Specialist

In this role, you will drive the adoption and effective use of modern workplace technologies across Canon EMEA, with a focus on Microsoft Copilot, AI, SharePoint, Power Platform and Digital Workplace services. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Europe and support strategic initiatives sponsored by senior leadership to shape how emerging technologies are adopted. The role is part of a newly established, growing team at the forefront of AI and workplace transformation, delivering secure, reliable and user-focused services. You will translate complex tech concepts into practical guidance, lead improvements, and influence the future of workplace technology across the organization.

• Foster adoption of Microsoft Copilot, AI, SharePoint, and Power Platform across EMEA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to drive strategic digital workplace initiatives.
• Support End User Computing and Digital Workplace services, ensuring security, reliability and user focus.
• Guide users, project teams and leaders on best practices for workplace technologies.
• Coordinate and deliver technology improvements and small change initiatives across multiple countries.
• Work with architects, suppliers and project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop user guidance, training materials and knowledge resources to improve adoption.
• Monitor service performance, investigate issues, and contribute to service improvements.
• Lead proofs-of-concept and evaluate emerging technologies for business value.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support the AI Innovation Hub by identifying and scaling practical AI use cases.
• Partner with stakeholders to maximize the value of Microsoft Copilot, AI, SharePoint and Digital Workplace tools.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in EUC, Digital/Modern Workplace or IT Functional Support.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and related collaboration tools.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, AI solutions, or a strong interest in AI/automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership and end users.
• Experience working in international environments with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and own initiatives.
