Vulnerability Assessment Specialist

In this role you will identify, analyze, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems and networks. You will perform assessments, craft remediation strategies, and collaborate with IT teams to strengthen configurations and security controls. You will produce detailed reports for stakeholders and ensure compliance with security standards. This position supports SBM Offshore’s mission to advance decarbonization and the blue transition through robust security practices.

• Conduct detailed vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications using automated tools and manual testing
• Identify security weaknesses and potential threats from assessment results
• Develop and recommend remediation strategies to address vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with system and network administrators to implement security measures and harden configurations
• Create detailed findings reports with impacts and mitigation steps for stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Maintain continuous monitoring to timely identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Provide training and awareness on vulnerability management best practices

• Several years of experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or related field
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Proficiency in network security concepts and technologies
• Bachelor in Cybersecurity or related field (implied)
