Managed Services Solution Lead Data Platform

In this role you own the vision and lifecycle of Data Platform propositions within XMS, aligning engineering, delivery, and commercial teams to deliver scalable, secure services. You drive roadmaps, releases, and continuous improvement to meet customer needs and business objectives. You will bridge technology, operations, and customer outcomes, shaping the future of the Data Platform portfolio. You’ll stay current with data technologies and contribute to market-leading managed services. This is an opportunity to lead end-to-end propositions that impact our cloud data ecosystem.

• Own the vision, strategy, and lifecycle of Data Platform propositions
• Drive roadmap prioritization, enhancements, and automation initiatives
• Define service offerings, tiers, and commercial positioning
• Govern releases and ensure effective communication to teams and customers
• Coordinate with Azure, Data, and Platform Engineering to align priorities
• Ensure services are operationally ready, scalable, and standardized
• Support governance, customer reviews, and escalation management
• Stay abreast of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and data governance developments
• Contribute to market leadership, go-to-market activities, and innovation agenda
• Define and track proposition success metrics and service KPIs

• 5+ years in data platforms, cloud engineering, managed services, or solution leadership
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform ecosystem
• Experience with OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Power BI, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Databricks, Event Hub, Purview
• Knowledge of data platform architecture, governance, security, and operational excellence
• Experience defining roadmaps and driving proposition improvements
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and agile delivery
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to balance customer requirements, business priorities, and technical direction
• Experience with managed services or service-oriented operating models is desirable
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (DP-600, DP-203, AZ-305, PL-300) are a plus
