Senior Internal Communications Specialist

In this role you shape internal storytelling and alignment across Mollie’s European hubs, partnering with executives and People to connect 1,500+ employees with the fintech strategy. You’ll build high-impact channels for a hybrid workforce and drive the narrative behind a major integration, enabling culture unification and faster decision-making. You use AI to scale communications and free up time for human-centric messaging. You’ll own the narrative from day one and influence business outcomes.

• Develop communications plans for employee initiatives across Mollie
• Create and govern internal editorial calendar and Slack channels
• Produce end-to-end All Hands meetings (deck, speaker prep, Q&A, post-event reviews)
• Provide strategic ghostwriting for executive announcements and change narratives
• Build data-driven engagement dashboards (reach, platform analytics, surveys, eNPS) with leadership recommendations
• Foster a transparent, high-energy culture scalable across Europe
• Clarify messaging across HR/People, product engineering, commercial teams, and executives

• 5+ years in internal communications, employee experience, or corporate comms in a high-growth tech/fintech environment
• Outstanding English writing and editing with ability to adopt distinct executive voices
• Proven track record partnering with executive leadership on sensitive change communications
• Hands-on experience with Slack, Notion, intranets, and survey tools; solid data analytics skills
• Excellent understanding and confidence using AI to enhance and scale work
• Fintech/payments background a plus; lightweight visual design or basic HTML skills are bonus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
