• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Solid computer science foundation (algorithms, memory and concurrency models, CPU architecture, operating systems, relational databases)
• Proficiency in C++ on Linux; willingness to learn on the job if needed
• Willingness to learn Python, C#, and other languages used at Optiver
• Experience with high‑performance, reliability‑critical systems
• Open to both senior and junior strong candidates
• Finance experience not required
