Head of Facility Management Europe (m/f/d)

In this role you lead the strategic Facility Management function across Europe, aligning FM with growth, resilience, and cost efficiency. You oversee a diverse portfolio including logistics centers, warehouses, and offices, driving governance and high-performance leadership rather than hands-on work. You partner with Operations, Logistics, HR, Finance, and Executives to shape scalable processes and long-term value. A key hook is steering FM strategy in a fast-moving, cross-country environment with a focus on sustainability and optimization.

• Define and execute a European FM strategy linked to growth, resilience, and cost efficiency
• Ensure governance, compliance, and continuity across a multi-site European portfolio
• Lead a decentralized FM organization with clear accountability and a culture of ownership
• Provide strategic direction to Technical Engineering leadership to align priorities
• Own and manage the FM budget (CAPEX/OPEX) and vendor strategy
• Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting, and cross-functional partnerships across Europe

• 10+ years of international Facility Management experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial settings
• Proven strategic FM leadership
• Experience managing large multi-country portfolios
• Budget responsibility in the multi-million euro range
• Ability to build structure, governance, and scalable processes
• Willingness to travel regularly across European sites
• English fluent / business level; German or Dutch is a strong advantage
