Lead, Inventory Planning

As Lead Inventory Planning, you will own strategic and operational inventory plans to support Under Armour’s goals in EMEA. You’ll align with Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive short- and long-term projections and optimize reporting and processes for efficiency. You will manage excess inventory, coordinate S&OP input, and optimize inventory across multiple warehouses, aiming to maximize product availability and minimize waste. This role offers cross-functional impact and a pathway to shape inventory strategy in a fast-paced environment.

• Analyze on-hand inventory and inbound plans to inform demand planning
• Develop multi-warehouse inventory strategy to optimize fulfillment
• Own inventory projections reporting and cross-functional alignment (Planning, Finance, Supply Chain)
• Contribute to S&OP with actionable inventory and supply reporting
• Update global templates, regional simulator, and DFC dashboard
• Create transparency on allocated and excess inventory and manage excess stock via monthly actions
• Collaborate with retail planning to address excess and closeout needs
• Coordinate with Sales operations and Logistics on inventory levels and warehouse capacity
• Analyze returns and cancellations to inform buy strategy
• Challenge contract volumes to reduce overall contract business
• Manage airfreight process and budget for total EMEA; align monthly with management
• Promote and push sales of specific inventory to reduce excess
• Optimize activities and processes to maximize product availability

• Bachelor's Degree? (explicitly stated as Bachelor’s Degree)
• 5+ years of related experience in international business
• Experience with forecasting, buying and inventory planning and control processes
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building and communication
• ERP experience with SAP/Blue Yonder preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Tableau experience preferred
• Strong, clear communication and analytical problem-solving
• Self-motivated, independent yet collaborative within a team
• Negotiating and influencing skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
• Experience in wholesale footwear, apparel, or equipment organizations preferred
