SAP GTS Application Consultant (m/f/d)

In this role you will analyze and model complex business processes and implement them in SAP GTS and SAP ERP. You will design customs processes and guide projects from initiation through delivery, including sub-project leadership. You will connect SAP to external customs systems and provide 2nd/3rd level support, testing, and ad-hoc reporting. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to optimize customs and logistics workflows while contributing to a leading chemical distributor’s SAP landscape.

• Analyze and model complex business processes and implement in SAP GTS and SAP ERP
• Design or contribute to the design of customs processes and consult customs departments
• Realize SAP projects across the full project lifecycle and participate as sub-project manager on corporate projects
• Provide technical integration to external customs systems or service providers
• Perform 2nd/3rd level problem analysis and resolution
• Implement SAP GTS customizing and configure relevant modules
• Prepare and execute tests
• Debug, create ad-hoc reports, and perform minor troubleshooting

• Degree in science/business informatics or comparable qualification with SAP GTS focus
• Several years of consulting experience in complex SAP GTS environments
• Good customizing, data & process knowledge in SAP GTS and feeder areas MM, LO, SD and EWM
• Good ABAP knowledge and project management experience
• Rudimentary knowledge of customs laws in one or more European countries
• Good written and spoken English skills
