FPGA Team Lead

As a Lead FPGA Engineer, you will own FPGA architecture, technical direction, and long-term development of a growing digital design team. You will define block and system-level architectures and drive RTL implementation across multiple projects, collaborating with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver high-performance, secure platforms. You will mentor engineers, establish best practices, and help scale the FPGA function while leading design reviews through to product delivery. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership to shape our next-generation networking and security solutions.

• Define FPGA architectures and system-level designs
• Oversee RTL development and timing closure strategies
• Lead design reviews and ensure successful product delivery
• Collaborate with hardware/software/product teams for integration
• Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and drive process improvements
• Recruit and grow the FPGA team
• Support hardware/software integration and cross-project consistency

• 10+ years FPGA development experience
• Strong RTL development using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
• Proven experience leading FPGA teams or major technical projects
• Expertise with Xilinx FPGA devices and the Vivado toolchain
• Experience with PCIe, high-speed SerDes, networking, or memory interfaces
• Strong understanding of system-level timing closure and hardware/software integration
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
