Accountant (Senior)

In this role you will manage the accounting for a portfolio of international clients, reporting to the Manager and maintaining direct client contact. You will oversee financial administration, reporting and compliance elements, while supporting business development and client relations. The position offers exposure to cross-border governance, tax coordination, and board-facing tasks in a dynamic, expanding firm. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence client outcomes and contribute to a growing, global team.

• Prepare annual and interim financial statements and reports, including tax and legal considerations
• Maintain and grow a network of international clients and identify new business opportunities
• Attend board meetings of client companies and draft minutes for directors’ execution
• Supervise staff performance and delegate work with management oversight
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and client cash management
• Draft and review complex accounts and assist with statutory filings with regulatory bodies
• Oversee periodic reporting, including regulatory submissions such as DNB reports
• Coordinate tax returns and ensure approvals with clients and tax advisors
• Support external accountants and tax audits
• Maintain client communications and liaise with external accounting partners
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contribute to high-quality standards
• Supervise Juniors and Mediors in daily tasks and development

• Several years of experience in an international accounting setting, corporate trust services or audit
• Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills
• Commercial, dynamic attitude with excellent communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously and set priorities
• Fluency in English and understanding of Dutch
• Bachelor in accounting/finance/economics or professional accounting designation
