Business Development Associate

As part of Klarna’s Partner Success Team, you will grow and maximize value from an existing book of Dutch partners. You will shape joint business plans, uncover expansion opportunities, and drive adoption of Klarna’s products. Collaborating with analytics, marketing, delivery, and product, you translate partner data into concrete actions that fuel measurable growth. You will manage senior stakeholder relationships, including C-level executives, to ensure aligned priorities and sustainable outcomes. This role offers fast-paced, cross-functional impact in a mission-driven fintech environment.

• Build and execute joint business plans with strategic partners in the Dutch market
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing partner accounts and convert them into growth initiatives
• Drive increased adoption of Klarna products and services across the partner portfolio
• Collaborate with analytics, marketing, delivery, and product to turn partner data into actionable steps
• Manage relationships with senior partner stakeholders, including C-level executives, to align priorities and track commercial outcomes
• Execute with pace to enable sustainable growth for partners and Klarna

• 2–4 years in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales
• Managed an existing portfolio of strategic accounts with revenue growth
• Experience in retail, payments, fintech, or e-commerce
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders including C-suite
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Read partner data and turn it into concrete next steps
• Working proficiency in Dutch and English
• Bonus: use of AI tools in sales (LLM-based) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, P&L)
