Senior Indirect Tax Manager

As Senior VAT Manager for EMEA, you will lead Dyson’s VAT function across Europe, ensuring timely filings and compliance. You will manage a small VAT team and coordinate with external advisors to support businesses and audits. You’ll review filings, oversee VAT payments and reconciliations, and drive process improvements for controls. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support growth and VAT-related projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead VAT filing processes for multiple European entities and respond to audits
• Manage a two-person VAT team and coordinate data extraction from SAP for external advisors
• Review and approve filings prepared by external advisors prior to submission
• Ensure timely VAT payments and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and controls
• Collaborate on assurance reviews, identify weaknesses, and drive process improvements
• Provide VAT input on cross-functional projects and system implementations
• Respond to non-standard requests from tax authorities, auditors, and business stakeholders

• Proven track record of managing large compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong technical and operational VAT experience, in-house or combined with practice
• Ability to partner with and hold external advisors to account
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to build relationships, lead people, and manage multiple stakeholders
