In this role, you will be the technical bridge between Delta’s R&D and European customers to enable seamless integration of automation solutions in packaging machinery. You’ll own technical assessments, design tailored motion control and PLC-based solutions, and troubleshoot on-site or remotely to minimize downtime. You will support market expansion by advising OEMs and system integrators, informing product roadmaps with regional insights. You’ll also lead training for customers and mentor junior engineers, contributing to Delta’s growth in Europe.

• Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support for European customers on HFFS, VFFS, and Flowpack systems
• Conduct detailed technical assessments and design customized solutions (motion control, drives, PLC programming, HMI integration)
• Troubleshoot complex issues on-site or remotely to minimize downtime and optimize performance
• Act as technical advisor to European packaging OEMs and system integrators
• Support sales during technical presentations, product demos, and RFPs
• Gather local market insights to influence product roadmap
• Deliver technical training sessions and workshops for customers’ engineering teams and distributors
• Mentor junior application engineers and share domain expertise

• Minimum 3 years of experience as FAE, Commissioning Engineer, or Automation Engineer in packaging machinery
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
• Deep hands-on understanding of packaging mechanics and control loops for Flowpack, HFSS, and VFSS
• Strong PLC programming skills (IEC 61131-3) and motion control (EtherCAT, Profinet, CANopen)
• Experience with major European automation brands (Beckhoff, B&R, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell) is highly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving with a customer-centric mindset
• Fluent English; additional European language (German, Italian, French) advantageous
• Willingness to travel across Europe up to 40–50%
