In this role you help financial institutions modernize their analytics landscape by designing scalable data solutions and AI-enabled workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into robust, production-ready platforms, including migrating Excel-based models to cloud environments. • Design, build and maintain modern data solutions for clients in insurance and financial services
• Migrate analytical and financial models from Excel/legacy environments to Azure cloud
• Develop scalable data pipelines and workflows for large datasets
• Design data structures, databases and architectures
• Support AI and machine learning deployments in client environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to software development, automation, testing and deployment of analytical applications
• Stay updated with emerging cloud, AI and data engineering technologies

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative/technical discipline
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts (databases, SQL, data modelling, data structures)
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Affinity with software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Fluent in Dutch and English
