In this role you model and validate drive and powertrain systems for hybrid and electric vehicles, supporting design and development. You work with cross-functional teams to build accurate vehicle dynamics representations and evaluate performance, energy use, and drivability. You will set up simulation scenarios, validate control strategies, and use models to diagnose system behavior. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to influence next-generation electrified mobility within a defense/industrial context.

• Develop and maintain vehicle dynamics and powertrain models for hybrid and electric vehicles
• Model longitudinal, lateral and, where relevant, vertical dynamics
• Develop models for electric motors, batteries, transmissions and range-extender systems
• Analyse vehicle performance, energy consumption, efficiency and drivability
• Define and execute simulation scenarios for vehicle-level development and validation
• Support the development and validation of vehicle control strategies
• Use simulation to investigate system behaviour and support root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with vehicle, powertrain, controls, embedded software and test engineers
• Contribute to model-based development and automated simulation/test environments
