Technical Service Specialist

In this role you influence the Milking portfolio’s evolution, focusing on maintainability and lifecycle reliability for the Lely Astronaut. You work with cross-functional teams to translate field insights into durable product improvements, shaping how innovations support farmers worldwide. You tackle long-term technical challenges and ensure serviceability is embedded from the start. This position offers global impact by enhancing uptime and scalability of thousands of milking robots, within a mission-driven expert organization.

• Steer strategic, long-term projects in the Milking portfolio with emphasis on the Lely Astronaut
• Represent service and lifecycle perspectives in cross-functional product teams
• Embed maintainability, uptime, and service standards in early design decisions
• Define and justify service requirements for new products and enhancements
• Analyze service data and field feedback to drive structural product improvements
• Contribute to global maintenance and service standards development

• Several years of experience in a technical or engineering-oriented environment
• Affinity with complex technical systems and full product lifecycle
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary teams
• Good command of English due to international setting
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
