Sr. Manager, PR & AI Discovery

In this role you drive the newly evolving practice of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and earned authority across Western Europe. You will align PR, influencer strategies, and AI discovery to ensure Philips products are trusted, visible, and accurately represented in AI-powered search and traditional media. You lead agency governance, cross-functional collaboration, and market activation to scale AI-ready content and citations. This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to shape the region’s approach to AI discovery and earned media.

• Pioneer AI Discovery & GEO: lead regional GEO strategy and audit AI search visibility
• Modernize Earned Media: unify PR, expert reviews, KOLs, and influencer marketing
• Drive Agency Performance & Governance: manage agencies, set KPIs and GEO targets
• Translate Strategy into Market Activation: convert strategies into market plans with cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead Regional Launches, Reputation & Issues Management: plan proactive PR and crisis prep aligned with escalation frameworks
• Strengthen Influencer & Social Authority: develop creator/influencer content strategies for trust and discoverability
• Empower Local Markets: provide playbooks and coaching to shift to AI-ready authority
• Leverage Analytics & AI Tools: use monitoring, listening, and insights to track AI citations and sentiment
• Measure GEO & Earned Authority Performance: establish region-wide measurement framework with quality coverage and risk indicators

• 8+ years in PR, media relations, integrated communications, digital PR, influencer marketing, SEO/GEO, or related fields
• Experience with SEO, GEO platforms, media monitoring, social listening, PR measurement, and AI tools
• Background in consumer health, health tech, beauty, or claims-sensitive categories (plus)
• Track record in managing agencies and building earned authority with journalists, publishers, reviewers, creators, and influencers
• Crisis & reputation management experience in regulated environments
