Business Application Specialist LIMS

You will own and optimize the LabVantage LIMS as a global technical lead, ensuring stability, data integrity, and continuous improvement. You collaborate with laboratories, IT, and business experts to translate needs into technical specs, and you drive integrations and deployments with the LIMS vendor. You enable scalable adoption, train users, and support international expansion. This role combines hands-on tech with cross-functional influence to support data-driven quality in our labs.

• Provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the LabVantage LIMS
• Gather business needs with stakeholders and translate into specifications
• Assist development, testing, and implementation of software solutions and integrations with the LIMS vendor
• Ensure data integrity and database management, including SQL-based solutions
• Provide ongoing user training and support for effective system adoption
• Support expansion of LIMS into new countries and integration with other systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (laboratories, IT, business experts) to improve performance and usability

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related technical field
• 5+ years in software development, IT systems management, or business application support
• Strong background in Java and SQL development
• Experience with LIMS systems (LabVantage preferred) or laboratory applications
• Strong analytical skills to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
• Excellent communication with diverse, international stakeholders
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Availability for occasional international travel (up to 25%)
