In this role you will shape and deliver cutting-edge IT architecture for financial services clients within BCG Platinion. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technology strategies and architecture solutions, both on paper and on site, driving digital transformation at scale. You’ll own project modules, develop technical concepts, and contribute to the financial services practice while growing your own expertise. This is a hands-on, problem-solving position with exposure to complex, high-impact engagements.

• Evaluate and coach client technology teams and define technology strategies
• Design architecture solutions and future-oriented concepts for digital platforms
• Develop and implement technology concepts and support live technical implementations
• Own delivery for a project module and contribute to architectural decisions
• Engage in training and mentoring to build technical skills
• Contribute to the Financial Services Practice Area development and brand building
• Work with cross-functional teams in a vendor-independent, entrepreneurial environment

• 4 to 10 years IT Architecture experience in IT/technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking
• Hands-on experience with trading platforms and systems (Calypso, Murex, OpenLink, Bloomberg) or similar
• Knowledge of trade and settlement processes across asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivates, FX, commodities)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures
• Familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes/Docker, event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with cloud platforms and high-frequency data processing; scalable, secure cloud solutions
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites
• University degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field; above-average academic performance
• For Netherlands: Fluent in English; Dutch desirable. For Belgium: English plus French or Flemish
