Data Consulting Manager

In this role, you will help client organisations adopt data and AI strategies and execute end-to-end data projects. You’ll bridge consulting, technology, and AI to deliver strategic, sustainable solutions, while developing cross-functional client relationships. You’ll work on guiding projects, managing workstreams, and shaping proposals to support Artefact’s growth. This is a hands-on role focused on impact, growth, and collaboration within a dynamic consulting team.

• Lead client projects by aligning team strengths to international engagements and ensuring high-impact delivery
• Oversee workstreams and projects, manage bottlenecks, budgeting, planning, and reporting
• Manage client relationships, present a confident point of view, and identify new business opportunities
• Own business development: shape proposals and drive growth alongside client delivery
• Coach and develop consultants, providing feedback and career guidance
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, content creation, and recruitment participation

• 5+ years in data and AI, with at least 2+ years in a consulting firm
• Curiosity about technology, data, and AI with willingness to learn deeply where it matters
• Ability to connect technical possibilities to business value and maintain quality standards
• Engineering mindset with a collaborative approach to work with engineers and technologists
• Analytical and technical mindset with knowledge of data governance, MLOps, GenAI, cloud strategy, and FinOps
• Ownership mentality, proactive and entrepreneurial, able to build new initiatives
• People development mindset with coaching and mentorship
• English fluency; additional languages a plus
• Curious, hands-on, and capable of solving ambiguous technological problems
